Tabletop or floor
A tabletop easel is the right first one. It sets up in seconds, holds a canvas or a board at a comfortable angle, and folds flat into a cupboard when the table is needed for dinner. Choose a floor easel when you are painting standing, working larger than about A2, or leaving a piece up between sessions — which is usually the real reason people buy one.
Every size is its own product with its dimensions in the name, so what you order is what arrives.
