Paint Brushes
5 products
Artists' brushes, listed only once the supplier has confirmed the shape, the size and the number of pieces in the pack. A brush is the cheapest thing in a painting kit and the one that decides most about the result — the same paint on the same canvas looks entirely different through a worn brush and a sharp one.

About this range
What the shapes do
- Round — the general-purpose brush. Holds a point for detail and spreads under pressure for fill.
- Flat — straight edges, blocks of colour, and a clean line if you turn it on its side.
- Filbert — a flat with a rounded end, so it blends without leaving a hard edge. The one most painters end up using most.
- Fan — for softening a transition and for texture: grass, hair, foliage.
Buying a pack rather than singles is usually the right call early on. Sizes that sound close on paper behave very differently in the hand, and the fastest way to find the two or three you actually reach for is to have them all in front of you.
