At 1.5 m this is the smallest easel here you can comfortably stand at — the size that turns a corner of a room into somewhere you paint.

Standing height changes the work. You walk up to the canvas, paint, and step back to look at it from across the room, which is difficult to do sitting at a table. At 56 cm the frame is wider than the sizes below it as well as taller, so there is more room across the working area.

• Stands on the floor at a height you can paint at on your feet.
• 30 cm taller and 8 cm wider than the 48 × 120 cm easel.
• Holds your canvas or board upright while you work.
