The first of the statement sizes — a canvas you plan a wall around rather than find a gap for.

Canvas stretched over a square wooden frame, sold singly and ready to hang unframed. There is surface here for a full landscape or a life-size head, and enough scale that the finished painting sets the tone of the room. Acrylic and oil both work on it. Work at this scale takes a little planning, but it is the scale people remember.
