The board is flat and rigid with a plain unprinted surface, and the long edge gives you somewhere to put a horizon, which the 10 × 10 cm square does not. It lies flat on a desk, sits steady across your lap, and slides into a bag without ceremony. Three to a pack means a set of three related studies arrives together.
