15 × 20 cm is about 6 × 8 inches — the largest of the small rectangles, and the one most people settle on for working outdoors.

Big enough to say something, small enough that you can carry three out with you and bring three back. The board is flat and rigid with a plain unprinted surface, and it balances on a knee as steadily as it sits on a table. A 3:4 rectangle, so it falls between the 15 × 15 cm square and the longer, narrower 13 × 18 cm.
