Outlines are clean and fairly bold, with rounded character shapes and simple backgrounds — closer to easy than intricate, without being sparse. The stalls, signage and food give you small areas to pick out in stronger colour against larger flat fields, which is a satisfying way to build a page up. Suits coloured pencils and fibre-tip pens, and alcohol markers lay down flat across the wider areas. A gentle option for short sessions.
