About this product
This range is built cumulatively. Every colour in the 12-colour set is in this one as well, with twelve further shades added — so moving up a size adds without trading anything away.
The ink is acrylic and opaque, which is what separates these from an alcohol marker: it sits on the surface rather than sinking into it, and it will therefore read on dark ground. The carton lists paper, timber, rock, ceramic, glass and canvas.

The manufacturer makes four claims of its own on the box — non-toxic, brush tip, strong coverage and water-based — together with a free ink system, rich colours and a flexible tip. These are the manufacturer's words, repeated rather than endorsed.
Twenty-four is the point at which the range's character shows: a good many muted sages, olives, blue-greys and skin tones sitting alongside the primaries. Good for stone and wood work, hand-lettered signage and anything on a dark ground.
