About this product
The 72 keeps the 60's footprint and grows upward instead of outward: the same 14.8 × 4 cm across the base, 31.5 cm tall rather than 26.3, and 1.05 kg packed. Twelve further colours for no extra desk space.
Each marker is a single-tip acrylic pen — one tapered fibre tip in the colour of its ink, a gloss black barrel, and a clear ribbed collar behind the tip that leaves the ink visible. Acrylic ink is opaque, so it holds its colour on timber, rock, ceramic, glass and canvas rather than being swallowed by them.

The manufacturer makes four claims of its own on the box — non-toxic, brush tip, strong coverage and water-based — together with a free ink system, rich colours and a flexible tip. These are the manufacturer's words, repeated rather than endorsed. The carton also asks that markers be re-capped after use and stored horizontally.
At this count the muted end of the range — the sages, olives, blue-greys and earths that give these markers their particular look — is broad enough to work in on its own, without borrowing from the brights to fill a gap.
