Stretched Canvas — 50 × 60 cm

About this product

Nearly a square, with just enough direction to give a composition somewhere to go.

Canvas stretched over a square wooden frame, sold as one and hung without framing. The gentle rectangle is easy to compose in and easy to place, because it does not insist on being portrait or landscape. The surface takes acrylic and oil, and there is enough of it to work comfortably with a large brush. It suits a scene with a horizon as readily as a single figure or a bowl of fruit.

The 50 × 50 cm is the true square at the same width; the 50 × 70 cm stretches that width into a poster proportion.
