Where the 24-colour set carries a single grey from each family, this one carries ten: five cool greys stepped from CG1 to CG9, and five warm greys from WG0.5 to WG8. For anyone shading faces, fabric or buildings, that ladder is the reason to move up a size.
The colour half of the set is built for landscape and portrait work rather than novelty — 101 Yellow Ochre, 91 Natural Oak and 94 Brick Brown alongside 69 Prussian Blue, 50 Forest Green and 25 Salmon Pink.
